Retirement can be a time of exploration and doing the things you enjoy — a gap year before the next phase of life.
I particularly liked the following quote, “I started to see this time in between a long career and whatever lies ahead as a bit of a bridge — the kind you stop at and enjoy the sights on either side, maybe even have a conversation with other travelers. We don’t stay on the bridge, but it gives us a chance to think about where we’ve been and where we’re going.”
