Longevity is the achievement of a long life. We may hope for longevity so that we can experience many years of quality time with loved ones or have time to explore the world. But living to a ripe old age doesn’t necessarily mean healthy or happy longevity if it is burdened by disability or disease.

The five key lifestyle factors are well-know-it is the additional factors listed in addition to the five that leads to healthy longevity. Combined, this is a pretty comprehensive list from a great resource on this topic.

One factor (I’ll combine these for simplicity) I would add to the list is mindset and beliefs. How we view aging, and our beliefs, contribute to healthy longevity.
