If you have followed the articles posted on my website or in my newsletter in the past, you have noticed that quite a few “where to (not to) retire” articles have been included.

This article by WalletHub is another addition to this topic. It is an important topic for people. After living in a location, often because of a career, people in retirement are free to choose where they would like to live.

People are choosing new locations for a variety of reasons, but it often includes being closer to family and/or friends, being near activities they enjoy, weather, access to top-notch healthcare, and a lower cost of living. The authors include their methodology in the article.

As with any article that ranks locations, use it only as a tool to help you locate your ideal retirement location. Include those factors that are most important to you.
